If you have a court appearance coming soon. You must immediately contact the court clerk and ask for a continuance. You should be able to find the number on the ticket/citation and ask for another date. Have a date in mind of 30 to 40 days from the date stated on the ticket so that you will have enough time to get all the information you will need to faceoff with the prosecutors and clerks of the court.
