Whether you have to pay Income Tax to the Federal Government is not up for discussion. The answer to that question according to Title 26 US Code, you do not have to pay the tax. You are told you have to pay Income Tax that is true, but are they right? Have the people who are telling you that you have to pay the income tax read the Title 26 US Code, probably not. Even experienced tax attorneys have not read the Code and most definitely people who do your taxes have not.
